Institutional Journey 2013 to 2026



2013: Young Explorers of Culture

A non-profit association running cultural and educational activities for primary-school children. In 2016, first participation in the WRO Hellas national robotics competition (theme "Our Galaxy"), placing 7th. Operated until 2016.

2013 to 2016: "The Maieutics of Socrates" Workshop

A philosophical dialogue workshop for primary-school pupils, based on the Socratic maieutic method. Introduced into the programme by the founder and delivered by Anna Ntinti, PhD in Philosophy.

2017: Foundation of Leirion Alternative Library

The organisation acquires its own identity and broadens its educational work. In March 2017, at the WRO Hellas national robotics competition (theme "Vehicles and Transport of Tomorrow"), the Leirion team Auto Pilot placed 5th and received the Special Award for Complexity of Automation.

2017 to 2021: Period of educational workshops

Development of a multidisciplinary programme: robotics, ancient Greek, creative writing, philosophy for children and adults, ceramics, museum education, primary-school study support and a parents' school.

2021: First International Leirion MUN Conference

Entry into diplomatic simulation, with international participation from the first edition.

2021: Ithaca Method™

Development and first application of the pedagogical methodology in Greece, France and Germany.

2022: Transition to Non-Profit Civil Company

A new period of institutional growth and international orientation.

2023: Leirion MUN Academy

A systematic programme of diplomatic education for ages 14 to 22, from secondary school through university.

2024: MUN for Primary School Students

First diplomatic simulation conference for primary education, with its own original methodology.

2025: 4th International Leirion MUN Conference, Global College Malta

First edition held outside Greece, in cooperation with Global College Malta.

2025: Leirion Publications

Foundation of the organisation's publishing arm.

2026: 2nd MUN Conference for Primary School Students

Second edition for primary education.

2026: Leirion Policy Forum

Creation of the university-level diplomatic simulation platform, based on the Next Generation Diplomatic Architecture™ (NGDA) methodology.
